The Pampanga I Electric Cooperative, Inc. (PELCO I) is an electric power distribution utility that distributes sufficient and stable power supply to the towns of Arayat, Candaba, Magalang, Mexico, San Luis and Sta. Ana in the Province of Pampanga. Its power source is the AES Philippines-MPPCL whose power plant is located in Masinloc, Zambales.
Electricity is delivered to PELCO I through the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) through its facility located at Barangay San Jose Matulid, Mexico, Pampanga.
Presently, PELCO I caters to around 97,883 residences, 1,539 public buildings, 211 street lights, 5,703 commercial establishments, 7 industrial establishments, 10 irrigation facilities, 11 commercial-high voltage facilities, 10 industrial-high voltage and 1 irrigation-high voltage facility.
